Team—

I understand you all just finished your gathering - I trust you’re as enthusiastic as I am with the positive developments. Previously I sent you all a note, I expressed the following: “I believe in this group. You all are some of the most motivated and innovative designers we have had the pleasure to collaborate with - and we’re eager for that relationship to persist.”

With your dedication and flexibility, particularly over the last year, you continue to prove that.

The player input from last autumn’s the game testing phase was revealing. It affirmed the appeal of a roguelike shooter but made clear we still had improvements to make. It highlighted the necessity for a more distinct vision.

The belief in Project ETHOS strengthens every day. To further the incredible advancement you’ve made, I am thrilled to announce the new hire as the incoming Lead of the team. After several months of talks, Ben officially joins us on Monday, October 20.

His management and expertise in the competitive gaming space is considerable, having spent the past decade and a half producing and overseeing some of the most well-known titles in gaming, for example Call of Duty: Black Ops, and most recently, Apex Legends.
